Paul E. Frink
September 6, 1943 - January 16, 2012


Paul E. Frink, 68, of Kearney died Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. 

 Memorial services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Kearney.  Rev. Gary Main will officiate and burial of ashes will be at Kearney Cemetery.  Visitation is planned Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. with the family present at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney.  Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department.  A message of condolence, tribute, or memory can be left at www.hlmkfuneral.com.   Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services of Kearney are in charge of arrangements.

 He was born September 6, 1943 in Pender, Nebraska to Orva and Della (Lanum) Frink.  He graduated from Pender High School in 1961.  He lived and worked in Omaha until moving to Holdrege where he worked at B.D. 

 On November 27, 1970 he married Sharon Toomey in Elwood, NE.  The couple moved to Kearney and he worked for Walnut Grove then was a meat cutter at Boogarts.   He then worked for many years for the University of Nebraska at Kearney in maintenance until retiring for health reasons. 

 He was a member of First United Methodist Church.  He is also a past member of the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Unit.  Paul did volunteer work at both the church and at Good Samaritan Hospital with the Hospital Service League and served as a shooting instructor for 4-H.  He enjoyed vacations, especially the ones with his grandchildren.

Sister -----------------Belva Ann and husband Wayne Elliott of Pleasant Hill, OR

 He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers; Jim and John.
