LEEANN K. CLOUSE
Leeann Clouse, age 50, of Kearney, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
She was born May 8, 1960 at North Platte, Nebraska to Francis “Tat” and Cathleen (Sarratt) Wilson. Leeann attended Washington Elementary School at North Platte; later graduating from Sutherland High School in 1978. Leeann went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1999.
On October 30, 1982, she married Stanley Clouse at North Platte. The couple lived in North Platte, Shelton and Kearney and their marriage was blessed with one son, Jeremiah. While in Kearney, Leeann began work with the Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska. Leeann began her career as the Community Services Assistant, eventually becoming the Community Service Director and in 2010, the Community Planning Director. Leeann was a true and committed advocate for the people that she served through her work; she always strived to make a positive difference in the community.
Leeann was a very caring and civic-minded person. She served as an Envoy for the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, served with Buffalo County Community Partners, Kearney Women’s Club and the State Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and numerous work-related committees.
Leeann’s most treasured moments were spent with her family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Leeann was preceded in death by her father, “Tat”; and her son, Jeremiah.
Survivors include her husband Stan Clouse of Kearney; mother, Cathleen Wilson of North Platte; brother, Steve Wilson of North Platte; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cornerstone Berean Church in Kearney with Pastor Doug Shada officiating. Burial will be in the North Platte Cemetery at North Platte, NE at 3:30 p.m. following the services.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Cornerstone Berean Church in Kearney.
