Jennifer O. Nicol, 49, of Kearney, died December 8, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be 9:30 am, December 11, 2021 at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Shanno officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Kearney Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, December 10, 2021 at the funeral home with the family greeting friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Kearney Area Animal Shelter. Jennifer was born November 7, 1972 in Hastings, Nebraska to Gary and Lorraine (Beat) Feind. She graduated from Kearney High School in 1991 and then studied History at University of Nebraska at Kearney. Jennifer married Sean Nicol July 7, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Kearney. Jennifer worked in housekeeping at Richard Young, Good Samaritan Hospital, and University of Nebraska Kearney for the last seven years. She enjoyed going to garage sales and her animals. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Sean Nicol of Kearney; sons, Dylan and Molly Nicol of Grand Island, NE, Reece and Hope Nicol of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, Cade Nicol, Kason Nicol, and Zak Nicol of Kearney; parents, Gary and Lorraine Feind of Kearney; sisters, Erin Feind of Bellevue, NE, and Jordan Sollazzo of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Jennifer was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Nicol.
