Linda L. Gillming, 73, of Kearney, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney with Pastor Brad Brandt officiating. Burial will be later. Visitation with family greeting friends will be on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Linda was born on June 15, 1948 in Spirit Lake, ID to Wallace and Mary (Gravelle) Cady. She was united in marriage to Robert Gillming on July 29, 1965 in Idaho. Linda worked a variety of jobs throughout her life including in the kitchen at Gibbon Public Schools. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kearney. Linda enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was involved in all her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. She also loved the company and companionship of her beloved dogs, J.D. and Buddy. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob of Kearney; children and spouses, Bobby and Julie Gillming of Gibbon, Todd and Jenny Gillming of Minden, Tina and C.J. Brandt of Kearney and Randy and Shanna Gillming of Litchfield; sister, Sharon Skeen of Hermiston, OR; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous other extended family and friends.
