A notice to our families
To Our Families and Community. Information on Funerals and COVID-19
Dear Friends and Families,
We would like to first express our heartfelt condolences and sympathy for your loss. We also recognize the added agony and grief you are experiencing due to current mandated health standards in relation to prohibited large gatherings, specifically visitations, wake services and graveside committal services. As we continue to evolve and progress through the Covid-19 pandemic we constantly discover new challenges that test the way we have cared for families for decades. We want nothing more than to serve each family to the absolute best of our abilities as we sincerely appreciate those who entrust their loved-one’s care to us. In an attempt to comply with the state on Nebraska’s ever-changing mandated health standards we would like to explain the current regulations that we will abide by until further notice.
- Absolutely no large gatherings over the current 10-person limit for any ceremony EXCEPT the Funeral Service. This includes visitations, graveside committals (even in an outdoor setting) and any other associated funeral activities. The rule of 10 has been implemented in churches, business and other gathering places in our community and state for many weeks now.
- Public visitations CAN still proceed and are highly encouraged so long as the rule of 10 is followed. Stipulations may dictate that family not be present to greet friends and/or have their own private visitation time(s) while still maintaining the 10-person limit.
- Funerals and Memorial services WILL still be conducted however we will adhere to proper social distancing during the ceremony. We will also record and place on our website a copy any funeral service that takes place in our facility. We will provide copies of the service to family members.
Please remember that we want nothing more than to provide your loved one with the upmost dignity and care that they deserve. We are happy to work with you to accommodate any reasonable request while at the same time arriving at a resolution that honors the lives of those that place the ultimate trust in us. If you have any questions regarding the above guidelines, please call us to discuss.
Thank You for your understanding and continued support at this difficult time. We truly are all in this together and we will get through it.
