Keisha M. Wright, 27, and Ryley G. Wright, 30, of Kearney died Monday, February 5, 2018 as a result of a automobile accident west of Kearney on Highway 30. Funeral services will be Monday 12th of February 2018 at First Baptist Church. Pastor Dougherty will officiate. Burial will be at Kearney Cemetery. There will be no visitation. She moved to Lexington in 1993 then graduated from Elwood High School in 2009. She then attended Central Community College in Hastings and graduated with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. She moved to Kearney in 2012 and worked at the UNK student union. Ryley was born March 10, 1987 in Holdrege to Delwyn and Katie (Ybarra) Wright. Ryley attended grade school in Elm Creek moving to Pleasanton in 1996. Ryley enjoyed DJ'ing dances and singing solos for choral class and making many lasting relationships. By age 15, Ryley worked at Arby’s & Wendy’s. Ryley graduated Pleasanton High School in 2005. Then went on to attend Central Community College at Hastings and Iowa state College. Ryley then moved to Nashville then to Lincoln, and, finally, home to Kearney in 2012. On October 31, 2015 they were married in Kearney. The couple lived in Grand Island and worked at the Nebraska Veterans Home and both obtained their CNA degrees. They then moved North Platte and worked at Linden Court nursing home. They moved to Kearney in November of 2017. Keisha was currently working at Shell Gas Station and Homestead Assisted Living. Ryley lovingly cared for the children at the home daycare Ryley and Keisha had just started. Their common interests include the Kearney Chapter of PFLAG-Pride; helping friends and family at any time, at any cost; Helping with various community events including Girl Scouts. They also enjoyed spending quality time outdoors with various parties or just a chance gathering. Their collections included scary movies, Nightmare Before Christmas, Star Wars, and Legos. They enjoyed spending time together. You never had one without the other. In joyful times with friends or at home together nurturing each other. Keisha is survived by her parents, Karen and Randy Reinertson of Elwood, NE; sisters, Amanda Perez and her husband Charles of Holdrege, NE, Laurie Thomas and her husband Dre of Lexington, NE, Kayla Ruiz and her husband Luis also of Lexington, NE, and Hanna Reinertson of Lexington, NE; grandparents, Tom and Betty Brungardt of Garden City, KS, Shirley Thompson of Johnson Lake, NE and Dennis Thompson of Clarks, SD; Uncles Kevin Brungardt of Wakeeney, KS, Karl, and Kyle Brungardt of Garden City KS; and her Aunt Karol Brungardt of Cozad, NE. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Anna Long and great-grandparents Adam and Anna Brungardt, and her Aunt Carol Ann Brungardt. Ryley is survived by his parents, Katie and Delwyn Wright of Pleasanton; brother Delwyn “Bud” Wright and sister, Vanessa Graf both of Kearney. Ryley is also survived by nieces and nephews David, Dalton and Damion Wright. Evan, Ian, Gabby and Varia Graf. Samantha Taylor, Christopher Mehrens. Many beloved Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Ryley was preceded in death by his sister, Heaven Senta Jackson.
