Lynn Suess

Lynn Suess, 75, of Kearney died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his home in Kearney. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Kearney. Rev. He was welcomed into the home of Elmer and Mary Suess. He attended and later graduated from Elkhorn High School in Elkhorn, NE. He attended Advanced Traffic School for two years at Omaha Metro Technical College following high school and shortly thereafter began a trucking career. Lynn went to work for Sahling Kenworth in Kearney, NE as a salesman in 1989 and remained there for over 27 years. He greatly valued and cherished the friendships he developed while working for Sahling’s over the years. He married Deborah Ryan Ellingson on October 18, 2014 in Republican City, NE. Lynn was a member of the Kearney Noon Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed time at the lake, especially with family and friends. Surviving relatives include his Wife, Debbi of Kearney; Children, Kenneth D. Suess and his wife Barbara of Ada, OK, Mary Lynn Bonner of Stratford, OK, Annie Weast of Stratford, OK and Carol Suess of Winfield, KS; Grandchildren, Justin Suess of Chicago, IL, Melissa Andrews & husband Thomas of Stratford, OK, Brian Bonner and wife Kiley of Stratford, OK, Hailey Davenport and husband Ty of Foster, OK, Taylor Booth and husband Kody of Ft.
