Rosemary Hemmann, age 82, of Amherst, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the St. Luke?s Good Samaritan Village in Kearney.Funeral Services will be Friday, February 11, 2011at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst with Pastor Bert Mueller officiating.Burial will be at the Stanley Cemetery near Amherst.Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.Memorials are suggested to the Amherst Volunteer Fire Department or Trinity Lutheran Church.A condolence, tribute or memory can be left at www.hlmkfuneral.comHorner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral Home in Kearney is in charge of arrangements. Rosemary was born on November 27, 1928 in Amherst, NE to Rex and Eva (Whitesel) Jeffers.She graduated from Amherst High School and married Lee Taubenheim. She later married Martin Hemmann on May 28, 1982 at the Amherst Methodist Church.Rosemary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #351.She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and drives in the country.She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
